We are trying to get our services up online, while adjusting to our new covid-world reality at the same time. We will be listing telemedicine in a new software for us, Janeapp, as soon as we can. Services available will be Chinese herbal recommendations, self care strategies (there are some modalities that you can do at home, like qi gong, breathwork, gua sha, cupping and moxa that we can guide you through) and distance energy work like EFT and Reiki. If you feel like you need something specific, please let us know.
I highly encourage you to keep your bodies moving and lungs breathing, and to use this time to nourish yourself with healthy food and lots of sleep if you can. I know it's hard.
A word about healthy food. The acupuncture/Chinese Medical community is calling COVID a damp plague, which is a HUGE topic of discussion, and I could seriously talk all day about it. The main point that I would like to share is that we all have to revamp our diets on a long term basis to prepare our bodies to be less susceptible. No dairy, sugar, processed or fried foods. I admit, I have a mini mint Klondike bar on most afternoons these days, but I also drink ginger root tea all day long and put garlic in most of my food. It's about doing what you can to help your body function better.
If you need help exercising, there are lots of free or low cost exercise programs online right now. Let me know if you need help finding something that is right for you.
